WAVES - textile paper

WAVES
The present project is a response to previous research and experiments conducted on textile paper and proposes the development of an innovative solution, integrating it into contemporary textile art. By the use of unconventional materials for the textile industry, a new fabric has been created which retains all the classic textile properties while laying out surprising details that contribute to the aesthetic of the created object.

Thus, by applying the pleating and quilting technique on the material, I have created a collection of lamps. Each piece reflects the perfect balance between functionality, sustainability, and design, imparting a distinct environment and a unique minimalist touch to the spaces they accompany.
The purpose of the this collection represents the affirmation of the versatility of the textile field and the display of the creative potential of various underexplored unconventional materials.
